These two photographs were captured by Lucas Simoes. He gives the illusion that the photographs are in the process of being burnt and he intentionally always leaves one eye in the photograph.

Molly and I had so much fun taking this photo! I brought her a navy blue sweater from home and then used Kleenex's found in the media center to create the white fluff on her shirt. Everybody walking in and out of the media center was laughing at us. Molly had a really difficult time keeping a straight face...
For the scavenger hunt assignment, I decided to create my first name instead of my last name. Most of the letters were pretty easy to find in the various objects above besides the "K." Molly, Gretta and I were walking around the school when I noticed the cracks in the tar looked like a "K", so I took a photo of it.
I really like this photo that Rachel took of Emma. The reflection of Emma on the floor is super cool too! My favorite part of this photo is the way that Emma is all curled up by herself and it just adds so much more emotion to the image.
I think that this photo is pretty neat. I really like how Thompson used smoke bombs to create the illusion of a recent plane crash.
I also really like the country feel that the photo gives off and all of the colors go great together. Go to http://www.kylethompsonphotography.com/fine-art to check out more of his fantastic photography! This photograph was captured by British photographer Amy Shore. I really like how the photographer was able to capture such a once in a lifetime moment. It's not very often someone is able to see a solar eclipse but capturing the moment is truly remarkable. I think that it's incredible that the bird just happened to fly across the sky when the photo was being taken.
I really like the color in this photograph, and the natural contrast created between the sun and sky is beautiful. True Beauty This is my favorite because it is of my beautiful cousin Mackenzie! I think that this photo really captures her beauty, both inside and out. The photo also has a soft element to it, bringing out the sincerity in her face. This moment is one of the few I have captured so far that I like.
